The madness continues...
Vottttttttoooooooooooooo!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
What no Ross??? Is he still injured or is Pete playing the hot hand?

I almost feel sorry for Keppinger. All he did was play hard and do well in the 2-hole and now we get gonzo in the same 2 hole.
I don't care about the lineup. I just want the Reds to rip their heads off and crap down their necks.
I hate Milwaukee.

I've recently come to the conclusion that I hate all five other NL Central teams. It's to the point now that it doesn't matter much to me who wins the NL Central if the Reds aren't winning it; I just want that team to get their tails kicked immediately in the LDS.

too bad ... Votto might have actually given Dunn a little bit of protection.
It is interesting that since the ASB Dunn's OBP is over .430 and slugging is over .550 and yet his rate for the counting stats have not increased.

Hitters who avoid outs are the funnest.
Dunn's line this year batting 4th is .321/.400/.765/1.165 over 95 plate appearances, and that includes 11 home runs. Much of his time batting cleanup this season was in June, and Griffey hit .290/.367/.645/1.012 for the month of June.
I'm not sure what the exact batting lines for both of them are when they hit 3/4 back-to-back, but I imagine both are incredibly high. Why the Reds feel the necessity to put a .333 on-base percentage between Griffey and Dunn, I have no idea ... but this is the Reds we're talking about here.

There is some fun young talent to watch in those lineups. Something to enjoy in a lost season I reckon.
