I would really like the Reds to learn to disperse their runs across 162 games instead of five.

    Still, this is fun.

Weird seeing the quote in your sig seeing as I'm a senior in high school and we just had Fences for summer reading.

Weirder that I'm conversing online with a high school student at 8:15 on a Friday night. About plays. On a baseball message board.

I'd suggest it says a lot about the both of us.

On the positive, Votto has shown a good eye for drawing a walk against lefties, even though he struggles getting hits or hitting with power against them. So, there's hope.

But, I do wonder how many years it will take before Votto hits .250 against lefties in the Majors or has a SLG % of .470 against them. It could be several years.

I still stick to my guns when I said back in May that Votto should be the Opening Day 1B in 2008 and play every day, lefties or not.
