Just got home. Ugly, ugly loss.

Heart stopped and didn't start again until Jr started moving again after that great catch up against the RF wall.

The 9th inning was horrable. BPhill swings at three pitches. Dunner looked ugly on a few swings. Someone else said it, but this one is on the offense. Missed oportunities caught up with them later.

well Jerry Narron showed up tonight..
    1) Lets Ross bat hitting .200 with Valentin or Hatteburg and Hamilton not good enough to bat in that situation. in the 7th.
    2) Then next batter pinch hit? Cantu..RH...
    3) Top of 8th 2nd and 3rd one out.. DOESN'T walk fly ball hitting Jenkins to set up a double play. what does he do? hits SF!
    4) Bottom of ninth. need a run to tie, DOESNT pinch hit HOMERUN threat Hamilton for Hopper!!
    All managing skills of Narron

Cards and D'backs in a wild one. 9-7 Snakes after 4.

Pujols is a HR away from the cycle.

Glad I missed it. Ever notice that when Ross plays and Hamilton does not, the offense suffers?

Aaron Harang didn't get the support he needed tonight and the result, 7 innings of two-run ball lost by Burton and Weathers.

Weathers gets a lot of kudos, but he is so hittable that he has no business coming in with a game on the line. He's been lucky this year and that's OK once in awhile, but not game after game after game.

All of this probably doesn't matter in the whole scheme of things, but I hate it for Aaron Harang. If he doesn't win the Cy Young, you can look at the 5 blown saves added to his record and you can see what I mean. For all of the wheeling and dealing Krivsky has done, he still hasn't assembled a suitable bullpen and that is the most damning part of his tenure. For those that support him, there is no reason to complain about Harang's lack of respect or this team's position. 24 blown saves. If we could have won half of those, we could be in the race.

32 blown saves last season..24 this season!!! its amazing if the Reds had a bullpen they would be in the playoffs!!
