    Re: 9.13.07 Cardinals at Reds

Considering EdE's start to the season, it must be some sort of redemption for him to be IBB, especially against a righty.

I know Votto is a rook, but I don't get that strategic move at all... and he makes em pay.

Then Ross in on the action! 5-1 Reds. Anyone have a broom by their desk at work?

David Ross' two-run homer should finish Mr. Wells soon enough. 5-1 Reds.

When's the last time Ross homered? It's been forever, partly due to the concussion and partly due to Javier Valentin hitting.

He should only play against lefties.

All joking aside though, he is a good option for a fourth OF.

Looks like Cavazos stole Anthony Reyes' hat.

The Cards have been one hit through 5 by Harang, with no walks, and they managed to get a run in. The Reds had 11 base runners stranded through 4, and got one run in.

Situational hitting has improved this year, but man is there room for improvement. Can it be taught?

I like him as a forth OFer and someone who can come off the bench. His ability to bunt for hits and move around the bases is key. Wouldn't be surprised if Freel is shopped this off season.
