Then who is the 5th OF? Ideally it would be a righty power guy. can Cantu play out there?

As it stands right now, the Reds' bench next year would be:

    Hattie (L)
    Hopper (R)
    Freel (R)
    Cantu (R)
    Keppinger (R)
    Valentin (L/R)

Pretty good speed and contact, a little power. Pretty good, actually. Give the Reds a couple bullpen arms and a starter, and the Reds progress yet again in 2008, with a serious run made in 2009 and beyond.

Did Harang really pitch around Cairo to get to Pujols, bringing the tie-ing run to the plate?

    Ross can throw a bit.

Please don't let Larussa come to Cincinnati.

5-3 Reds up, still no runners stranded by the Cards

    No I didn't.

I have a feeling Castro might retire. Or maybe it is a hope.

Either way, with Pedro Lopez the Reds sure as heck don't need Castro in the organization, unless it is as a roving fielding instructor for the minors/ Latin players.

The Cards with a strange hitting line for the entire inning:

    1-1

Castro and Ellison are expected to be key cogs for the bench next year...

And if Jay Bruce has a solid spring, then what? May see a late March trade of Ryan Freel.
