Thanks to TexasDave for the PM, the record is 20Ks in a 9 inning game.

uggh. My grandma has more range than Griffey. He's a glorified DH right now.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I think I liked it better when Belisle was not pitching to contact.

Reds record for Ks in a 9 inning game. 16 for Jim Maloney on 5-21-63, Noodles Hahn 5-22-01, Ron Villone (Surprise) - 9-20-00.

    Walks will haunt.

Belisle's MO seems eerily similar to Dumatrait's: good stuff, but inconsistent control.

    Hall flies to right.
    Villaneuva grounds to third.
    Weeks walks.
    Counsell singles to left.
Dillon "doubles" right past Griffey (should have been a single). (Two score)
    Fielder grounds out to Votto.

    After 3 innings: Brewers 2, Reds 0

    Belisle at 67 pitches.
    Villaneuva at 47 pitches.
