In the Venezuelan Winter Leagues, you'd get a ton of "games under protest". But it's usually when the fans RIOT.

It's a traditional way of trying to get reversal of a loss. (Only matters if you lose.) Used where a rules interpretation issue, not a matter of umpire's discretion.
