    Bruce has my vote....

    I don't see it happening

Hopefully, better than...Jason Romano, Darren Bragg, Reggie Taylor and others who have filled in for Jr.

You obviously didn't read my post below that.

Weathers blew a two run lead in game one of this series. The Reds won game two. Therefore, that blown save cost the Reds the series. It's really not that hard to tell what I was talking about. Not once did I ever say Weathers cost the Reds tonight's game.

Rickie Weeks hits a 2-run HR off Lidge in the 9th to tie the game at 4.

I agree with those who say that RF will mostly be a platoon of Buck Coats and Jason Ellison for the rest of the season, though against the Cubs next weekend we may see a little bit of Jeff Keppinger in RF with Alex Gonzalez at SS, or maybe even Joey Votto in RF with Scott Hatteberg at 1B. (Where has Hatte been, anyway? I know that Votto is getting an extended look, but Scott seems to have fallen off the face of the earth!)

On to more positive things. Congratulations to Adam Dunn, who not only became the first player in Reds history to hit 40+ HR's in four consecutive seasons (as the broadcasters kept telling us), he also became the first Red to hit 40+ HR's in four seasons, period!

Updated Reds HR list (players in italics are active):

    Reds All-Time Home Run Leaders
    1. Johnny Bench - 389
    2. Frank Robinson - 324
    3. Tony Perez - 287
    4. Ted Kluszewski - 251

    6. Adam Dunn - 238
    7. Eric Davis - 203

Hatte has a strained oblique muscle... though maybe it's better now.

Thanks. Isn't that what Albert Pujols had a year or two ago? If so, it doesn't usually heal quickly, and it will take plenty of rest. Maybe it's best to shut Hatteberg down, too.

I'm sure Jason Romano was better than my cousin with catarrh.

Congrats to Dunn! I didn't realize no other Red had hit 40 homers in four different seasons. I really hope the Reds will make an earnest effort to sign him to a LTC. For all the flack he takes he has been consistent and plus you know he will be in the lineup everyday.
Thanks for the info Big Klu. You are a fountain of good information.
