Seeing what's up with Homer is almost the only reason to watch this game.

They told a nice story about Franson. His brother's favorite player was Dave Righetti (#19), the brother was born on the 19th and he battled cancer for 19 years before he passed away. Rags was apparently a friend of the family (which is from a suburb of San Jose) and he gave Franson the number 19 when Kevin came up to the bigs.

They just showed two Reds fans, complete with backward hats, bare upper torso and full red body paint. The Giant announcer identified them as Marty Brennaman and his son Thom.
Given the threads written recently, I found that a pretty good ad lib.

Dunn walks for the 100th time...
40+ 100+ 100+ 100+
That's not too shabby.

Nice atbat by Dunn. He fell behind 1-2 before working it to 3-2 and laying off a tough changeup to draw his 100th walk of the season. That's the fourth consecutive 100 walk season for him and the fifth of his career.
Dunn gets walk #100. Marty says "thats strong, real strong"
Right on! 100 walks, 101 runs, 105 RBIs, 40 HRs, not too shabby.

Those pitches look pretty good...
That one didn't
Just tossing out a question here - why is it so critical to split up your lefty hitters, but it's all right to stack RH hitters like cordwood?
I'm not a system player. I am a system.
oooo...curve ball...
