Homer is getting badly squeezed. This ump called a 1-0 pitch just above Dunn's ankles a strike on him. Homer has thrown two or three very close pitches on the corners and they were called balls.

Wow. Jeff Keppinger is a horrible SS. That was a routine groundball and he still didn't get a glove on it.

It's why the .820 OPS SS Gonzalez is such a better choice than Keppinger.

Chalk that run up to Keppinger. If you thought Aurilia was bad at SS, you haven't seen Keppinger. I'm amazed that that ball made it through the infield.

Methinks the Giants can run on Homer and Valentine all night at will

If he dove he could have probably knocked it down and not allowed the runner to score.

Inning 1: Homer's velocity on his fastballs ranged from 88 to 93.

BTW. I would rather see the Reds stick an ironing board behind the plate than let Valentin catch. Javy may be the worst defensive catcher I've ever seen.

Who is that Ump? He's tighter than the bark on a tree.

Meanwhile the Mets just coughed up a three-run lead in the 9th against the bottom feeding Marlins. It's like they're trying to lose.

Filthy curveball there by Homer. Followed by another to K Fransden.
