Wow. The Reds got screwed again. The ump says Fransden fouled that pitch off, yet the replay shows he missed the ball by four inches.

Homey is getting that curve down at least close to the strikezone so far, instead of tossing it a foot above it like before.

Another filthy curve to K Rodiguez but the ump says he didn't go around. It looked like he nearly went all the way around to me.

that was the pitch I was so disappointed in the first time around ... it had little bite. I am now one who is starting to wonder if he was having leg problems the entire time.

Homer K's Cain. He came very close to striking out the side. This is the best he's looked all year IMO.

If getting LaRussa to be our next manager means Dave Duncan comes with him then sign me up for it. I'm salivating at the thought of Dave Duncan working with Homer Bailey. Duncan could turn Homer into a Cy Young contender by 2009 if he were to get his hands on Homer. I think he could also be a tremendous help to Belisle also.

I'm trying not to let myself think of Norris Hopper as more than a 4th outfielder, but he makes it difficult.

Hopper singles to move Homer to 3rd and 0 outs. Kepp flies out to RF. Runners hold.

Just keep reminding yourself of his 15 walks in 280 atbats.
