He threw him a fastball after making him look bad on breaking balls.

It's amazing how many times a Reds pitcher had did that this season (make someone look bad on one pitch and then follow it up with a different pitch that gets smoked).

When did they take the ivy off the outfield walls in Wrigley?

Oh...wait...the Reds are at home? Huh.

Grande about the Cubs OF "They are an offensive outfield."

That's true but certainly no more offensive than Ellison being in the Reds outfield.

Hitters who avoid outs are the funnest.

Votto has had a bunch of atbats lately where he got ahead 3-0, 3-1, and the atbat resulted in an out. He's been awesome through his first 75 plate appearances but he'll be even better once he's able to finish at atbat and draw the walk. But you gotta love the fact that he works the count deep and makes the pitcher work.

I like his patience, for sure.

The rest will come with experience...

Brewers about to file a grievance against the REDS for lack of effort.

Nice catch by Hopper but a run scores on the sac fly.

Fay, as well, suspects the Reds will look outside for their new manager...

Not pulling the "interim" tag off of Pete gives it away
