    That was my everything goes well and everyone's healthy best case scenario. I still maintain that it's not that outlandish. This team could have done that. They sure didn't though.

    Regardless, I'm even more confident now about the future than I was at the beginning of the year. A lot of good things happened to the Reds this year. A team with Votto, Phillips, Encarnacion, Dunn, Hamilton and Jay Bruce in the starting lineup looks pretty good to me, at least on offense anyway. Especially when yo have two guys on the bench (Hopper & Keppinger) who just hit .330.

    They need pitching though. Bad. Two good starters wouldn't be a bad place to start but I'm guessing it isn't as easy as that.
