    It amazes me how this team plays so much better without pressure...

    Put pressure on them, and they crumble...

    Bailey ends the season with 45.333 Innings in the Majors and 75.333 innings in the minors. That is about 50 Innings shy of where he needed to get to this year, but these 3 September starts got him up over 120 Innings total, add in another 10 or so equivalent innings from simulated games and throwing on the side in Sarasota and he could conceivably go to 160 innings in 2008 without pushing it too far. That seems to be enough to hold down a number 5 spot should he step forward in the spring.

    The innings he got in these 3 starts were very important for 2008 IMO.
