Re: Why the 70's Fashion must not be replicated

Ok, so I log in this morning and hit a time warp!!!!!!

Sad thing, I'm with some of you guys, I owned several outfits like that. And Mom ALWAYS had the carpet stuff on the bathroom

Sad thing is if you see my Senior picture from High School, you'll see an outfit very similar to the lime one in the lower left hand corner of this pic, mine however had the combination of this fine style with the addition of the western shoulder motif seen in some of the other pics!

I couldn't get past the fro, sistah.

You look nice in that second picture. Your cousin looks like he raided Bobby Knight's closet.

God bless the Sears and Roebuck catalog from 1978. I don't know how many times that got read.

And thanks to RFS for bringing out his photo album.

My leisure suit color was blue. Baby Blue.

Actually the Sears 1975 catalog was better (the man on page 602)...

I can remember my girlfriend at the time (and her mom) discussing that photo in the Sears catalog.
In the 1970s I had at one time permed hair, platform shoes, and a burnt orange leisure suit--and I'm not posting any photos to prove it. RFS has shown us the dangers of photography.
Hey, the fashions in the 1970s were terrible, but the Reds were much better.

...but looking at some of the off-field pictures of the likes of Rose and Bench are an embarrassment.
