Yes, but young Brennaman will rotate in later.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

Hope you're liking the new digs. They looked pretty nice.

Keppinger charges nicely to throw out the semi-speedy Victorino.

The more good D we see from him, the more he has a chance to steal at-bats from Alex Gonzalez. Not that I think we're going to see Jeff replicate last year's line.

    Affeldt whiffs Utley. Two down.

    Edit: Oops, that was three.

No score after one. Brantley is raving about Keppinger.

On a side note. My post counter isn't working. It's stuck on 3370. Any ideas on what might be wrong?

He really seemed ok out there last year. That does give me some level of comfort in case Gonzalez has an injury plagued year.

Although ideally Kepp is more of a supersub instead of the starting SS. As long as shows enough leather to start over Juan Castro should Gonzalez struggle or miss time.

    Reds struggling against a soft-tosser? Baseball's here!

Votto runs out the string, then grounds to second. Two out for Bruce.

I'm still holding to the idea that Castro's new nickname is either "coach" or "JuanGone".

Jay fouls the breaking ball straight back. Second pitch is ripped into LCF for the single! Opposite-field hitting off the soft-tosser, interesting.

    Kepp flies to left.

    End of 1.5, no score.

Game thread posts don't count towards your post total.
