Dunn singles to rf and Phillips goes to third. Good time for EdE to break out.

EdE grounds into a DP but a run scores and the Reds lead it 1-0.

Marty's continual "tired old Ed Smith Stadium" has nothing to do with heading back to Cincinnati and EVERYTHING to do with the team moving it's ST facility to Arizona. He's been touting the phrase ever since he and Thom decided that would be the thing to do.

After four weeks and several times per game, the phrase itself has become tired and old.

For taking a team that went 22-9 the previous year and finishing 24-10? I'd say not.

I'm watching the Tigers/Phillies game on Fox Sports Detroit. The announcers were interiewing Jim Leyland and asked him why he chose to bat Gary Sheffield 3rd in the lineup over Cabrera. His answer was because Sheffield has the highest career OBP in the lineup and he wants to give Cabrera and Ordonez more RBI opportunities. What a smart guy.

Hopefully they got the plumbing fixed at the tired, old stadium...that was an issue earlier this spring.

Doc K isn't half bad behind the mic. Not great, but pretty decent for an amature.

After six Reds 3-0. Doc Hollywoods day is done too. He did pretty good. Marty better watch out or they will have Doc doing double duty.
