For the record, I'm sick of your love affair for Patterson the bastard

I know he hasn't been up too long, including last year... but I haven't seen anything in Votto to justify what was being said about him being a subpar defender. He's been nothing but solid to very good on the bag.

Hasn't the question about Votto always been his defense? I am not seeing that.

We were sold a bill of goods with those statements from the Reds brass.

Arroyo is looking good so far, he has some pretty good stuff going right now. Just limit him to 100 or less pitches though.

I think they got it backwards.

The only announcers I have heard worse then Grande is the Pirates guys, and I get the pleasure of listenting to them tonight.

Listening to them makes me realize as much as we all complain about them I prefer the Reds announcers probably 80% of the time over the opposition's announcers.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

The Pirates and Astros announcers are both putrid. The Cubs and Brewers both have really good color guys, and I like Buck for the Cardinals. Thom and C.W. are probably the best booth in the NL Central, but Grande is jsut too bad for my ears.
