I read yesterday that a certain family that currently lives in the White House only eats organic foods.

I'm pretty sure this debunks the idea that eating healthy makes one a "Hippie"
School's out. What did you expect?

My conservative wife and I buy organic stuff. Milk and bread mostly but she will sneak in some other stuff too. Definately no hippy.

Milk is laced with bovine growth hormone which has been a possible explaination for girls developing earlier.

Local is preferred... organic is nice, but local leaves less of a footprint.

    If you're counting that stuff.

Thats where the cutoff from hippy and not. I want less footprints walking to and fro my daughter's windows when they are 14.

Say no to BGH, it will make your daughters look better to boys at an earlier age... ha

Seems like the easy way around the ban on candy bars would be to substitute nutrition bars. I have found that Fiber One bars taste better than most candy bars.

A lot of the Nazi's were food purists. Hitler was a vegetarian.

First MLB takes away the players' greenies, now the Yankees are taking away candy. I'm guessing they will have to pry the coffee out of their cold, dead hands.

I have finally convinced my wife to start for looking for BGH-free milk. I don't drink milk anymore but she does and so does both of our daughters.

Hmm, I must not know what a hippie is if not eating candy makes one that. Dusty Baker is one crazy hippie then too. Even his toothpicks are healthy (enzymes to help immune system in them).

Yep. Girardi just doesn't like his kids eating traditional junk food.

David Wells would've never made it under these rules.
