Hendrickson getting a better zone than Volquez it looks like.

I noticed that too. So it's not just you.
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

All Country Kepp does is hit.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Why? Phillips mashes lefties, Dunn not so much.

I'm not sure how much this has an impact on other people but I was planning on going to one of these 4 games but with gas at 4 dollars a gallon its tough for me to justify going to a game in the middle of the week. Its a 2 hour, one way trip for me.

Encarnacion swings at the first pitch and flies out to 2nd. 0-0 after 1.

Looks like one of those umpires who like to squeeze young pitchers.

Oh that certainly plays a role I'm sure. Unless you live somewhere that provides alternate options of transportation to Cincinnati or the ball park, it's getting to be an expensive trip to watch a basement dwelling team..

I don't mind the pitcher getting that call. It was a quality pitch. What I do have a problem with is when Edinson Volquez throws the pitch in an identical location and doesn't get the call. It'd be great to get consistent calls.

Volquez has already thrown his fourth best pitcher the slider three or four times already.
