Seems like Harang always gets hit hard in the first inning.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Phillps vs Votto -- God forbid the pirates bring in their LOOGY to face two guys who hit lefties pretty darn well.

I will never understand the value of splitting your lefties for the sake of possible plate appearance while harming yourself for the first 3 times through the order.

If the Reds sore their usual amount of runs for Harang, the game's already over.

Good job by Harang to strand the runner.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Nice job by Harang to get out of the inning with no further damage. Phil Dumatrait on the hill - the Reds should crush him.

That ball was stung. Good thing it was pretty much right at Votto.

Let's see some old school Dumatrait.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Wow, so your 3rd game in the bigs and you're already in the 3 hole?? I am actually SHOCKED that Dusty would do that.
