You'll know by 4:30 pm ESTThey'll probably keep it under wraps until it's time to post lineups, tripping all over themselves again, and doing their best to keep it a secret, not let the word out and not sell tickets.

Bruce and Reds President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Walt Jocketty will be available to the media tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. in the Reds’ dugout at Great American Ball Park.
It's as sure a thing as you can get.I'm very curious to hear any news regarding Bruce starting tonight,
Probably is. But why keep anyone in suspense about it? This town needs some excitement about the Reds, however contrived it may be (unfortunately, I am thinking about Homer and last years "excitement", and how this is reminding me of that ) .
The Reds should have just announced that he's being called up and he will be in the lineup. That way folks will know and can get their tickets as soon as they wish.
If he doesn't start tonight, not only will this board melt down, but nearly all of Reds Country will, too. Especially since Jock said they're going to bring him up and play him.
sorry we're boring
Hatte will be DFA.
The last couple times Votto didn't start, Valentin did. Given his age, low salary, pinch hitting performance and recent attitude. It is my belief that he is gone. I'm sure Jocketty worked the phones to get something for him, but I think we've seen the last of Hatteberg as a Red.
Witty signature.
A quote from Baseball Digest Daily:
http://blog.baseballdigestdaily.com/...6/3713215.htmlThe Cincinnat Reds have announced that they will promote Jay Bruce tomorrow from Class AAA Louisville. He will wear uniform number 32 and will be making his Major League debut.
That's a pretty good indication he will be starting tonight.
I wonder how Cueto will do tonight. It will be his first start where he is an afterthought compared to another player. It seems like how he does in each of his starts is the first thing I would look for but it won't be tonight.
BTW major props for Cyclone who called this a couple weeks ago. He identified when the Super-2 safe date was and accurately predicted the date when Jay Bruce would be called up. Nice job man.
begs the question of how might this season be different if Corey Patterson never was.
This is what's written right on the Reds' website:
"Bruce, considered the consensus top prospect in all of professional baseball, will be promoted to the Reds from Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday and make his Major League debut in Cincinnati against the Pirates."
...
"The Reds were off on Monday after returning from a seven-day West Coast road trip. A corresponding roster move to make room for Bruce will be announced before Tuesday's series opener at Great American Ball Park."
Seems pretty clear to me. Honestly I think a start tonight is a given.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.
