MLB.com just switched the Reds projection. It was showing Yonder Alonso, but the broadcaster changed it to Aaron Crow. Both Beckham and Alonso were drafted after 7.
These are just their projections. But I favor Alonso and Beckham to Crow.

MLB.com isn't what I would call particularly astute from a journalism perspective. So I wouldn't worry about what they're saying too much.
so Marty just said that the Beckham's are brothers. I'm 99.9% sure I've heard mulitple times that they're not related. You'd think Marty would check his facts.
Marty just mentioned the Reds and Gordon Beckham with the 7th pick of the draft. Maybe he knows something, or maybe he's reading the same things we are.

What could he know? Our ability to pick him is dependent on, among other things, him being available to pick when we draft. Everyone seems to know that the Reds have an interest.

I can watch all the scouting videos and even the commercial when I click the "watch Live draft" link, but I cannot see the live draft coverage (or even listen to it) without downloading something.
And I'm at work.
Very frustrating.

So it's been discussed ad nauseum, but if Matsuz is on the board when the Reds select, do you take him?
I say yes, but Gordon would be my 2nd choice (based on who would likely be available).
They could be twins.
I watched G. Beckham's videos and although they were from 2007, they were not very impressive. He looked kind of small with short legs.
Beckham vs Alonso. Really, who do you guys want more?
