I just wish the Reds could've got Pat White. The man can run and he's got a good arm. He'd be a good one to have as a defensive replacement/pinch runner.

Pick 29, Ben Hunter, RHP from Wake Forest, looks to be a senior. If so, then it is my understanding that we have more time to sign him. Can someone confirm this? Are there any others in this category?

Ben Hunter chose Medical School over professional baseball.

Thanks for the tip. That was a nasty yacker. But one thing I noticed re: "Suburban's" delivery is how he comes down on a stiff leg (his left knee even bends a bit "backward" on his follow-through) That's something that should be corrected with instruction

While he may have chosen medical school, seniors have until next years draft to sign. They don't have the August 15th deadline.

Pat White was cut by the Dolphins, but before that happened, he tweeted that he'd rather play baseball than be converted to a wide receiver. I haven't paid much attention to his situation--does anyone know if we could see him signed as a minor league free agent?
