Can't help injuries, i know, but batting Janish second? Not having a better option? This is a bench only a mother could love.

I think they should occasionally wear them on the road. It seems to me that they have played pretty well the last few times they have worn the Red jerseys (even though they lost today).

Yep, Dusty can't win.. if he substituted liberally in an extra inning game, he'd get crucified... Heck, he got crucified for using Bere to face the RH hitters with a 2 run lead...
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

I agree, at least that is what the record says. Cincinnati 33 37 .471 11.5

So how do you feel about Janish batting second, while Bruce leads off, and Votto bats down in the order in front of Bako/Ross and the pitcher?

How's come Dusty doesn't bat one of his catchers second ?

Dunn ties the record for most consecutive interleague games with a homer. If he hits one tomorrow he'll have the record all to himself but against Beckett I don't think it's gonna happen.

Beckett's not afraid of coughing up the longball. I could definitely see Dunn doing it tomorrow.
