Seems to me that when he needs to be counted on....he blows it...when it doesn't matter, he thrives.

Weather's WPA ranks LAST among REDS relievers, so he has not been good in high leveraged situations/

It's not going to happen, and if it did the Reds would be fast on the way to being the Clippers of MLB, not able to get a single ounce of respect from the rest of the league.

6th manager this decade and the Reds still have the same problems... that's some crazy bad managing year in and year out... maybe the team has a hand in all that futility?

I've made that argument too....people didn't like it.

Should have traded him last year when he may have had some value (maybe they did try, I don't know)

Apparently, there are several here at RedsZone that thought that way. Last year I was on a few other boards for the majority of the time and it seemed like EVERYONE was praising the greatness of Weathers. Nice to see some rational minds around for a change. :O)
