Nope.
Nope.
Lopez safe at 1st on FC. Flores infield single. 1st and 2nd with 1 out. Harris coming up.
Hairston makes a great play but unfortunately it wasn't Jay Bruce running to 2B and the throw was just late. He probably could've gotten the runner if he got up and made the throw to first.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Flyball to Junior. Nobody advances.
Premature fireworks
As long as Cody Ross isn't coming to bat, Coco's ok
Never overlook the obvious
Had him struckout and Bako dropped the strike three foul tip.
Now he K's him!
Reds win 3-0.
Guzman K's after premature fireworks. And this one belongs to the Reds!
Easy with those high fives Aaron, forearm stiffness?
Never overlook the obvious
3 and 2 for Gamethreads now. *whew* I'm back above .500. :O)
3-0 Reds
Arroyo 6.0 ip / 5 hits / 0 runs / 3 bb / 3 k's / 95 pitches. era 5.82
Cordero save #17
Junior 1-2 with 2 walks a dinger and 2 rbi's
Dunn 2-4
Kepp 0-4 and 0 for his last 17
Once again, the Reds get 7 hits and three members of the starting lineup aren't even hitting .250 (Griffey at .239, Dunn at .227, and Bako at .221 with Patterson not starting, but at .188). We once again win on a home run by Junior and do little else.
I hope Walt is searching for hitting. I really do.

"You only have to bat a thousand in two things; flying and heart transplants. Everything else you can go 4-for-5."
-Beano Cook
With today's win, the Reds again climb out of the cellar, by .001 over the Astro's.
sorry we're boring
That was the 10th time this season the Nats have been shut out. Talk about a bad offense, that's it.
