    Stinking up this road trip could be the best thing to happen so the Reds ownership doesn't get a false sense that being a buyer at the deadline is the right step to take.

    A new identity is a much needed step...the construction of this team hasn't worked in 8 years.

    Outside of Phillips, Votto, hopefully Bruce, and on offense (at times) Dunn, the Reds have crap for their starting 8. It's sad what happend to the Reds offense.

    Where was Hairston? I know he may not have made the difference but he has been by far the Reds best lead off hitter.
