Wayne Krivsky is manifestly a worse GM than Dan O'Brien and it's not even close.
The time to trade Arroyo was after the 2006 season. Unfortunately, at that point the Reds were so pitching-starved that they saw Arroyo as a long-term solution as a member of the team rather than as a commodity who should have been moved for a haul of prospects in order to enable a very necessary talent churn.
