I think they mean "return" from his slump.

Votto is on pace for 69 RBI. One good game and that projection could easily become 75.
    17 in his last 2 months.... that's over 200 PA's

Because he can't read the spin on a breaking ball from a RHP?

Yes, the 25-man roster has been-decaffinated (per Fay's blog)

I wouldn't mind picking up Johnny Estrada in place of Bako...

Gameday has Bailey hitting 96 in the first inning. No fastball under 93 yet.

Bailey just doesn't have command of anything. You can see a touch of some decent stuff, but the kid is a long ways from being an effective major league pitcher.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Single through the left side, 2-0. Bailey = Batting Practice. Averaging two hits per IP.

Good velocity tonight for Homer but when you can't command a secondary pitch then you're going to get hit. I don't understand why Jocketty called him up.

Wild pitch and then a fastball down the middle = 2-0 Nationals.
