What a gutless team. Griffey says thanks for trading me.

Please take the sofa...put it on the mound and burn it.

Trade everyone and anyone....Go Frank Lane/Whitey Herzog on it.

Walt Jocketty has himself a CRAP (can't use the other word) load of work to do...

But gotta keep the .500 goal in mind...that's important.

It's a little insulting to hear Marty hawking tickets after that half inning.....

So how in the world are all four of those runs earned?

Dunn's defense has been around average all season but he seems to have a his bad days when Cueto pitches. I remember him misplaying a flyball in Chicago that cost Cueto three runs and now this.

Ring Ring. Hello, this is a very frustrated and unfocussed Johnny Cueto; yes, I'm calling in "ineffective" today. You might want to get that raggedy bullpen up and tossing again. They need to set a new record for innings pitched against the Nationals.

I could see him saying "I'm not reading that one" and throwing the card out of the window

Good thing Walt didn't make any other trades. Gotta focus on .500 ya know.

I agree with the first statement. But the second: I seriously doubt that matters to Walt.

    Ah...2 on...1 out, a good opportunity here.

...And in steps Corey Patterson. Kinda gives you that tingly feeling, doesn't it?

All that trading Fogg/Weathers/Affeldt would have accomplished is that more pitchers that are not ready for majors would be taking the mound for the Reds.

I was thinking about going to a couple of games this week, but I might have to reconsider.

Should that ever happen to a middle infielder (B Phillips getting picked off of second)?
