It didn't look like Bruce went around. If it's that close the home plate ump needs to check with the 3B ump.

Even Parra is making Arroyo work.

Wow. Pitching is much easier when you get 3 inches on either side of the plate. Arroyo at 75 pitches through 4. Arroyo could really use a 10 pitch inning.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Maybe one of the Reds hitters can get a hit this inning?

Parra walked Keppinger to lead off the first inning ans has retired the next 12 since then.

    0-0 after 4.

Excellent play by Phillips. I didn't think he had a chance to get him.

You got your wish. Arroyo just threw a 1-2-3 5th inning on 10 pitches.

    0-0 after 4 1/2.

    Arroyo could really use a 3 pitch 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th inning.

Bruce walks on four pitches. First and second one out for Ross.

Ross walks to load the bases with one out for Arroyo.

I'm telling Arroyo to keep the bat on his shoulder no matter what. His job is to get Jeff Keppinger an AB.

And I would've been wrong. WTG Arroyo!! 2-0 Reds.

I hope Dusty noticed that walks score runs.

If it were anyone but Arroyo then I'd agree, but Arroyo can hit.

And he does. A 2-run double by Arroyo!
