Corey gets the start over Dickerson against the lefty.
    Anyone surprised?

Ok, this is my very first lineup complaint in the six-ish years I've been here....

There is absolutley no reason Chris Dickerson should not be back in the lineup and leading off.

I don't mind that much because Dickerson struggles against lefties but what ticks me off is guys like Cabrera, Keppinger, and Andy Phillips continue to play over Adam Rosales.

Judging from the interviews and articles written on Dickerson, he's a very smart dude and a nice guy.

Why are Rosales and Dickerson on the bench in favor of Andy Phillips and Cory Patterson?

    Really, what is the point?

Why go bad when you can go young?

Keppinger singles after swinging at a terrible 3-1 pitch before that.

The lineup Baker never gives it a rest. Seasons over, 42 games left, a good chance to look at various players and Patterson is still king........auditioning for next year.

Exactly. Dickerson sitting is fine, in fact I even like Dusty's reasoning behind it....per Fay: "Chris Dickerson won't play against all left-handers. He hit .300 vs. RHP and .247 against LHP at Louisville. "I'm trying to protect him some and keep his confidence," Dusty Baker said. "You want to put him in a position to succeed. He'll play tomorrow."

But what's Adam got to do to get a start? Sheesh! Does anybody seriously believe that Andy Phillips or Jolbert Cabrera have more of a future with the Reds than Rosales does? Not a chance.

    Heh.

I knew Bruce's impatience would result in him swinging at something he couldn't drive resulting in a ground ball, but I agree. It might have happened with the next batter, too.

That pitch Bruce swung at was a strike. If he takes it it's strike three.
