    Patterson homers.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I have a bit of a Harvey Dent complex when it comes to Patterson.
As he is a Red, I want to see him succeed to help the ball club. Seeing the home run was a good thing for that side.
But, on the other side, part of me knows that the home run presents the chance that he will be continually seen by at least Dusty as the center field answer.

My only regret is that he did not bat down in the six or seven hole all year, where his stats have indicated that he can hit like he has been down there.

Kepp with his second single of the game 2 for 2. Hopefully this is the beginning of him breaking out of the post injury slump.
