Just what I figured, Mike Lincoln is about to blow Volquez's 16th win.

Bases loaded and only one out. Man this team misses Burton.

    Well...that was quick. *sigh*

3 run double by Holliday. Bullpen getting shelled last few games.

Geez. Rockies getting a lot of hits on pitches on the black or out of the zone. Tough inning from a BABIP perspective.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Great job by the bullpen. Mike Lincoln and Paul Bako single handedly cost Volquez this game. Volquez should have about 18 wins right now.

Thom just said only 1 of Edinson's runs were earned? Is that right? Gameday is saying all 3 were earned.

7-5 by the way. *rolls eyes*

Hawbe bangs one off the wall. Bruce with a great throw to 2B and Hawpe overslides the bag and makes out #2.

Thom just said the reason the runs were earned runs earlier (one or both, not sure), was because of Barmes hit.

If he didn't get a hit, they would have been unearned. That probably clears up nothing, but that's the reason.

Nevermind. Thom just changed that. All 3 were earned.
