Bray gets the strikeout to end the inning.

So what starter pitches after the bullpen is emptied? Arroyo?
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

When you watch Bray throw well like he just did, or Votto hit consistently, or Bruce hit a long ball, that's the pleasure of this season. I also got a kick out of Weathers in the ninth, barking at the ump after the balk call.

It would be a lot worse if the future looked bad, but it looks very bright. A good minor league pipeline, the willingness of ownership to spend some dollars.

So don't be aggravated. Give Walt some time and I'm hopefuly we'll be watching meaningful baseball in a year or two.

[sarcasm]Bray is overrated. He always let's inherented runners score. His ERA is the most deceptive stat out there.[ /sarcasm]

    Nice job by Billy boy.

Bray is the last reliever available, I did not realize that. The game isn't worth a pitcher being over used.

I'd say Fogg for sure. If we have to bring someone up to fill in, fine. But Fogg's the expendable one IMO.

No, Cordero's unavailable...his wife's having a baby. Marty mentioned it earlier. I guess that in a pinch he could use Lincoln...but Dusty stated he didn't want to use him today.

EE with a Texas Leaguer keeps the inning alive.

What do you know a hit by the Reds. Shocked.

I guess Harang for 63 pitches today probably isn't the best idea.
