Does Patterson's August surge mean he might be back in 2009?

    Another 1-2-3 inning for Backe. He's got a 2-hitter through 5.

Good grief. Humberto Quintero belts a one out solo homerun to make it 2-0. Quintero has two homeruns in 118 atbats this season, both homers have been against the Reds.

2 might be enough with the way Backe is pitching.

Is it the way he's pitching or the way the Reds are hacking?

Perhaps Aaron has some design ideas for moving the fences back at Minute Maid Park as well...I'm kidding, I'm kidding I love Harang...

Good question. The Reds appear to be hacking but it's hard to tell watching Gameday.

Correct on Massett. I was at that game. With two outs in the inning, Michael Bourn hit a groundball down the line that Massett bobbled for an error. Quintero followed with a 2-run homer that would've never happened had Masset not committed that error.
