As if to spite the naysayers, Majewski sets them down in order with 2 Ks.

It's funny that Votto was credited with a double. Official scoring these days is a joke.

We just haven't had enough 9-2 leads this year for him to mop up in.

    I'd say.

The OF misplays it badly, and it still drops right out of his glove.

    Error all the way.

That's true, guess the guy felt more comfortable with a big lead.

Wait a minute, Majewski is basically pitching against a AAA team, I missed that one.

But then again, if he's going to refuse to give Phillips an error after he botched that groundball Friday night and cost Volquez multi runs then I don't see how he can rule that an error. They both should have been errors if you ask me.

Bruce has a nice day, hopefully he's coming out of that slump. He's 0-for-3 with three walks and a sharp line out to the pitcher. He's had a three ball count in every atbat which is very encouraging.

9 walks today. Only the third time since the All-Star Break (41 games) that the REDS have more than 5 walks in a game.

Season high for the REDS was 11 walks on May 24 @ San Diego. They had 10 walks two games later vs. Pittsburgh.

Jolbert Cabrera is not a second baseman. The Giants have about four hits today that would be outs if the Reds had a major league caliber 2B/SS.
