.171-hitting Andy LaRoche dribbles one to third. EdE has to go to first, allowing a run to score.

    1-0 Pirates, two out.

Nobody there today, but the Cubs will be here tomorrow...so the vomit factor will be in full effect as the Cubs "fans" come out to "support" their team.

Any estimates on the crowd today? I figure no more than 5,000 will show up.

Fogg gets ahead of .224-hitting Steve Pearce 1-2 but can't put him away, as Pearce grounds a two-run single into center. 3-0 Pittsburgh.

Marty wonders why Ramirez isn't in the rotation over Fogg.

I don't think anybody can disagree with that.

First-pitch popup ends a brutally bad inning. 3-0 Pirates after 0.5.

Is there any reason why Josh Fogg is still on this team?

Dickerson takes a couple of 87-mph fastballs (!) and rips a double into the right-field corner. Dude is a machine.

Keppinger is 0-for-9 in September so far. With Gorzelanny's fastball now creeping up to 89-90, Jeff works a 2-2 count and then pops out to second. One out.
