Wilkin hasn't waited long in either of his at-bats.

A wild pitch on the first offering from Davis puts Hanigan in scoring position. Castillo then swings through a high fastball before hitting a looper to LF for the third out.

    5-4 Pirates after 5.

Ramirez dispatches Michaels to begin the sixth on a roller to Encarnacion.

Another 1-2-3 inning by Ramirez. He's retired all nine hitters he's faced.

Ramon falls behind 3-1 to LaRoche. Andy fouls off a fastball to run it full. He then fouls off the next four. On pitch #10, he grounds out to short.

Pearce grounds out hard to third to end the inning.

    5-4 Pirates after 5.5.

Andy Phillips pinch hits for Ramirez. I would have left Ramirez in...

Righty Jesse Chavez replaces Davis to begin the sixth. Brandon Moss replaces Steve Pearce in RF.

Andy Phillips pinch-hitting for Ramirez. Ramon retired all nine hitters he faced on 46 pitches, striking out two.

Phillips runs the count full, then punches a single up the middle. Dickerson up.

Dickerson just keeps on hitting...and hitting...and hitting...and hitting

Now...do you trade him or keep him? His value is through the roof right now, and his minor league numbers would suggest that he won't be this type of player...at least offensively.

That's the tough decision that WJ gets paid to make...

Dickerson singles. First and second and nobody out. With the way Kepp has hit lately I'd bunt him.

Chris falls behind 1-2 after taking a fastball right down Broadway. He fouls another one off and catches a hanging slider, sending it to center for another base hit!

Two on and nobody out for Keppinger!

I'd bunt Keppinger too. Chavez is in his third major-league appearance.

Instead Jeff takes a fastball down the middle of the plate, takes a ball low, and another one juuust off the plate. 2-1. A fourth straight heater IS BUNTED! The sacrifice works to perfection, with both runners moving up for Brandon Phillips.

Sac bunt by Kepp and Phillips ties the game with a RBI groundout. 5-5.

Phillips hacks at the first pitch and grounds hard to Gomez at second- good enough to score the tying run. It's a new ballgame, tied at 5!
