Votto 2-run homerun! His 8th this season against the Cubs. That ball was long gone.

Well, that WAS the case. Notice how LOUD those boos were on the call of Phillips safe at first? This just looks....ODD.

Okay, check that....Now you can hear the Reds fans. Votto bomb! :O)

Votto has homered in three straight games and nearly four, as he flied out to the 404 mark in CF in the first game against the Pirates. I'd love to see him reach 20 for the season.

EdE reaches on an error and Bruce walks on four pitches. He's now got six walks in his last 5+ games.

Nice to see Bruce letting bad balls go by.

Lily looks shaken. 4 pitch walk to Bruce. 2 on, 2 outs, Reds up 2-0.

I can't stand Scrubs fans. Nothing would please me more than to see the Reds sweep them this weekend.

4 pitch walk to Bruce just after missing badly on 3 straight pitches to Edwin...and Cabrera swings at the first pitch. What exactly does Jacoby do again? Is he allowed to speak in the dugout? A subtle little..."lets show some patience up there" could go a long way.

You can't criticize when a player swings at a first pitch fastball down the middle of the plate and absolutely crunches it.

You let that pitch go by, and you are playing catch up the rest of the AB.

Patinece is letting unhittable pitches go by.

Stupidity is letting cripples go by.

and Cabrera swings at the first pitch.
He had a good pitch to hit and hit a line drive. No problem with that. Lotta times a guy who's been wild will try to slip a cookie past on the 1st pitch, assuming the batter is going to take it. Makes for a good pitch to hit.

    Soto K's. 4 K's for Arroyo. 2-0 Reds after 1 1/2 innings.

Okay, fair point. I guess it's just frustration of seeing it over the long haul of the season without any noticable change in approach.
