Seems an odd move for Lou to go into the bullpen this early. Has Lilly looked hurt or struggling physically somehow?

Wow. One extreme to another for Bruce's defense. Looked at Dickerson then misplayed the ball. *sigh*
Bruce boots one.
Bruce and Dickerson played together in L'ville. That ball should have been caught.

WP from Bronson advances runner to 3rd.
Bruce made a web gem and followed it by dropping a ball on the run. I don't know if Dickerson caught his eye or what.
Bronson K's Soriano. He really looks sharp tonight. Changing speeds and location VERY well.
His duel with Theriot for example....
89 mph FB low & inside
75 mph Slider up & in
67 mph Curve up & out
73 mph Curve wide outside
68 mph Curve at the head then bends in for a strike
87 mph FB outside corner.
I love it when Bronson throws like this. When he's on like this he can really keep the hitters off balance.

I think Bruce is going to be a star but right now he's showing that he's 21 y.o. If he had gone to college he'd either be in this draft class or the next.
He's making the mistakes that, honestly, happen from time to time and I think over the next year or so he'll eliminate them but, right now, there are a few bumps in the road.

Bronson up to 55 pitches. Need a few more runs because we're going to have to get at least 3 from the pen.
Cabrera HBP, but Hanigan follows it up with a GIDP on the first pitch.
Funny story about Lou and his coach driving over and ending up near the PA state line before they realize that they missed that turn back around Toledo.
It just reinforces the idea that the Chubbies have always been headed in the wrong direction. :

This is when Bronson gets in trouble. 4 straight curveballs to Lee. He HAS to change his stuff more often to be successful.
Nice camera work on that ball hit by Lee. You could clearly see the ball skip/skid off the top of bag.

Keppinger starting to look like Keppinger again. He's looked like a totally different player/hitter since that injury. I'd like to see him get fully back on track for the rest of the season. I don't think he's a starter...but he's a solid player and contributor.
Brandon with a seeing-eye double down the rightfield line. Kepp to 3rd.
Votto intentionally walked to load them up for Edwin.
