Votto with a Pop-up slide at home. Not that he would have safe...but don't you try to slide through the plate?

is the game on tv anywhere?
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008

It looks like Theriot singles off the glove of Kepp and then Sean Marshall drops down a bunt single on a 1-2 pitch. How in the heck do you allow a pitcher to drop down a bunt single when you know it's coming? Goodness.

Edwin slipped when he was picking it up.

Harang escapes some shoddy defense by getting Soriano to GIDP to end the inning.

Nice job by Harang to get out of it with a 5-3 DP.

Patterson continues to build his stats with an excellent dribbler down the first base line.

I'm watching the game on WGN. Keppinger, or the left fielder, should easily have caught the pop up and EE fell down on what was really a routine sacrifice to handle. Fortunately Soriano cooperated by hitting a ball right to EE at the bag. The inning painfully underscored what I consider to be truth number one if this team is going to be any better next year: we need a real SS and a real 3B. Defensively the left side has got to be the worst in baseball.

Thom Brennaman is announcing the Saints/Bucs game, fwiw. I'm sure you were all dying for that information.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

At least they aren't punishing him and making him announce the Bengals game.

Cabrera chases ball 4. He chased some terrible pitches in that atbat.
