I thought that Dusty said that Castillo wouldn't be playing much in the coming games because the Reds were playing contenders and they owed it to the integrity of the to put their best lineup out there. Or, some such giberish....

So now, apparently, Castillo is one of the 'great eight' that the Reds can put on the field?

I'm guessing Dickerson is nursing something...he was originally in the lineup Sunday, then pulled

Does Dickerson's sprained ankle translate into Castillo starting in LF?

That integrity stuff can't be true.
He would not have his worst batter leading off.

Corey Patterson has the worst swing in baseball.

I'm sure it has happened but doe CPatt ever take a first pitch for a strike? Especially in the leadoff position....

It could only be made better if Bako batted 4th.

I know trades, injuries, etc. But there has to be some logic base for this.

Nice start by the Reds. Eleven pitches, three outs. Being aggressive at bat is something I support but the 'agressive' part referrs to going after a ball that you can drive---not swinging at everything within six inches of the strike zone!

Patterson and Keppinger make Phillips look like Eddie Yost.
