Yes, and they tell the rest of us that we are suppose to learn from our mistakes. Baker missed that memo.

One of the Milwaukee announcers just answered the following question: 'Why do strike out pitchers have such a high pitch count?"

His answer: because they don't have very good control. HUH?

I guess it never occured to him that in order to strike someone out it takes at least 3 pitches but usually more.

Bako needs to stop calling for the curveball. He obviously doesn't have the command of that pitch tonight yet he continues to throw it and get himself behind in the count.

Hardy makes it 4-1 by hammering a 3-1 fastball out of the park. Again, that's what happens when you're constantly working behind in the count.

Braun K's to end the inning. Volquez has thrown 95 pitches and has labored all night without his stuff...the smart thing would be to pull him but Dusty will send him back out there to labor some more.

Edinson at 95 pitches after 5. I wouldn't mind seeing him shut down for the night right now. At the most, one more inning....at the MOST. Hopefully we'll get some hits here and the pitcher spot comes up for a PH'er.

When Volquez is right he's constantly around the knees. Tonight he's been up in the strikezone and has paid for it.

Nice running catch by Cameron to rob Bruce of another double.
