Phillips would be a much better hitter if he could realize that he's not a homerun hitter.
As usual lately...Phillips is swinging for the seats. Get him OUT of the cleanup slot. It has really screwed up his approach. He's not a bad player or hitter, but this "gotta hit a homer" mentality is really messing with him. Even Dusty's noticed it. Marty said Dusty was quoted as saying Brandon has "homerun-itis". Bump him down in the order.
