Not a problem, I see we can agree that Speier did not help him just the same, how about Votto ??

A certain someone chose not to play Rosales remember?

Seen where he ranks in errors for 3rd basemen? He's obviously got the glove and the range. The vast majority of his errors have come on the throw. So take that out of the equation. First base. I've got no problem with his bat or his fielding. But that arm...good lord.

They are intentionally walking Votto to get to our cleanup hitter.

Kepp batting for Janish, nearly a single, but Hardy grabs it deep and guns out kepp. But Phillips advances. Votto getting intentionally walked. We're seeing more and more of that lately. Brandon coming up with 2 on.

He was right to swing at that first pitch. He should have hit it 500 feet.

Phillips would be a much better hitter if he could realize that he's not a homerun hitter.

As usual lately...Phillips is swinging for the seats. Get him OUT of the cleanup slot. It has really screwed up his approach. He's not a bad player or hitter, but this "gotta hit a homer" mentality is really messing with him. Even Dusty's noticed it. Marty said Dusty was quoted as saying Brandon has "homerun-itis". Bump him down in the order.

Until we get viable alternative to EE to play third, leave him there.

Kepp or Rosales at third simply don't hit enough.
