Castillo has been hot left handed. Haven't seen him hit righty so far.

In the past week we've seen what the opposition has seen from our defense all year. Gifts. Many many gifts.

Hanigan up next...I'd pinch hit Bako for him.

Hairston, with a bad leg, pinch hitting in a DP situation.

    Castillo is fast.

Dusty must've watched the "Opposite George" episode ad nauseum during his year off in gearing up for his next gig. I can't for the life of me understand a lot of what the man does. It's as if he's trying to be a contrarian.

If there's a criticism, Baker should have gone to Bray with the lefty Durham up. But having Burton pitch tonight is ok.

I find that sometimes it's the players who don't execute.
Burton is coming off an injury and has struggled since his return. I don't agree with pitching him on back to back days and three of the last four when he's clearly not at his best right now.

No you wouldn't because the lefty pitcher is throwing. You'd rather have Hanigan.

Hairston grounds to Hall who throws home. Great decision Dusty.

Ummm...I was joking. Bako should NEVER pinch hit for ANYBODY...even for Patterson.

Typical Reds inning--Phillips K's. bases get loaded and the next two hitters ground into force outs. All they needed was a fly ball. Good grief.

True, but we don't know...Castillo could've hit into a DP. Overall, that was a good AB from Hairston IMO. Poor result, but a solid AB.
