So far, Micah Owings was a steal

    No game thread for today?

Cueto walks Eckstein on four pitches. I don't care if he throws a no-hitter today, continuing to run him out there is a bad move IMO.

Upton walks. Cueto has thrown nine pitches, eight balls. Today is going to be a disaster. He's not the same since returning from the injury.

Cueto gets Chris Young to flyout and Dunn grounds into a doubleplay with runners on first and third. No score after one inning.

Bruce walks to begin the second inning.

I really don't understand why Hannigan is batting 8th other than because he's a catcher. It's a complete waste of OBP.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Cueto doesn't have it today. It's scoreless through two innings but he's walked three batters and allowed two hits. His command is way off today. Hopefully Dusty doesn't leave him in there too long.

Votto picks up the Reds first hit with a two out single in the third inning.

Still no score after three innings. Cueto has thrown 71 pitches in three innings.

I guess Castillo is not getting another start now? Why do i even bother to ask what the problem is.

That Bruce homerun was a laser.

Cueto meanwhile continues to struggle with command, plus his velocity seems to be down today. I hope they shut him down after today.

I agree....Cueto looks bad.....and he seems to only want to throw sliders.

Cueto's going to have to throw 120 just to go five. AARgh!

And now he walks the light hitting Ojeda. Six walks in 3.1 innings for Cueto. Please Dusty, for once in your career do something smart and pull the kid. He has been himself since the injury.
