How pitiful is your offense when you have 2 hits through 5.1 innings and one of the hits is by the pitcher? We are so daggone impatient at the plate. Wow.

Speaking of offense, Arroyo grounds a 1 out single into left.

Dickerson hits into a force at 2nd.

Hairston singles into RF. Runners now on the corners with 2 out.

    Votto digs in.

After stinging the ball his first two times up, Votto gets pitched around.

Bases loaded for EE with 2 out.

First two called strikes on EE were off the plate according to Gameday.

Yet, EE plates 3 with a double into left! 3-1 Redlegs now.

Bruce K's looking to end the inning.

    3-1 Reds after 6.

Of course, nobody likes strikeouts, but I'm rather encouraged that Bruce seems to have stopped goin' up there a-hackin', and seems to be taking the borderline pitches that he probably couldn't do much with anyway... not to mention the pitches 10 inches off the plate most couldn't hit with an oar.

Aaron Miles homers to make it 3-2 but Arroyo gets the next two hitters out. 3-2 Reds after 6 1/2. That should be it for Bronson as he's over 100 pitches. Another excellent start by Bronson.

    Glaus flies out to center.

Aaron Miles homers somehow (his 4th of the year) to right. 3-2 Reds.

    LaRue flies out to RF.

    Looper grounds out to 3rd.

3-2 Reds in the middle of 7.
